Fun activities we had today ...

On this week’s PPD session we had a fun experience. First we played a little game for a warm up. Almost everyone was tired at that time because we were working last night. So, that warm up helped us to get back in action.

First game was to bend like you’re on a chair and keep tapping on your knees with your hands and move around. When moving around, when you meet other people, you should tap their knees when they’re open. If your knee was tapped, you’re out. Sadly, I was out on the first round.

Next game was “lava river crossing”. There is an imaginary lava river marked by two banks. Each team will be given 4 papers to use to cross the river. And, all members of the team must cross the river. The key to this game is to come up with a proper strategic plan. Our team strategy was to enter the river only two people at once. When one crossed the river, other one will come back with his/her papers. But we lost two papers into the river. So we failed.

Next we were grouped and each group was given a large paper. When the tutor says in, we should all stand on that paper. On every round, the paper will be folded once. So each round is harder than the one before. We forgot to organize our group members around the paper evenly. So our strategy failed. Our strategy was to hold everyone around you when you’re on the paper then they won’t fall off. We lasted 2 rounds successfully with that plan.
