Technical Writing Workshop- WSO2

Last week I got more knowledge about technical writing than I knew from visit to WSO2. The session is very interesting and valuable for us. 

The session was started at 9.15 am because some of our friends were late.Most of us reached there before 9.00 am and they highly appreciated our punctuality.

First there was an introduction about the technical writing and briefly explained what kind of rules that have to follow when writing a user guides.As a example, differentiate between it's and its. Then there was a grammer activities according to what they explained from previous session.We had to correct the sentences which were incorrect.


Then we were grouped and they gave a group activity to guide for a person who don't know to use a ATM machine.The person want to withdraw money.We had to write what are the steps that he have to follow.We did it well and they selected our team as the winners.
Then there was a small break and they provided the refreshments.

After the break, they explained the career path of the technical writer.Next session was fun activity.It also related to the session topic.We grouped as same as before and we have to find an object and describe about that object from four sentences.We wrote that sentences and present. Other groups should try to find out the object. Questions were available. The winning group got a gift.

They ended the session sharply 12.00 am.The organization is well arranged the everything.No any doubt about that and I understand about the background of a organization.
