Around Kelaniya university

Today we went around the campus to shoot some photographs. We had a lot of fun and got some clicks for you.

This is the Administration building. This is a place we visit very frequently. And this the center of administration of our university.

This is a famous place in the campus. We call it lord Buddha statue. Behind it, there's a Bo tree. We perform bodhi puja and other religious functions here.

This is also a very famous place in UOK. This is called as Thel Bamma. Its located by the campus road.

This is Dharmaloka Hall. Usually called as DH. Its the main auditorium in the campus. Movies, dramas, and other contests are frequently held here. It can hold around 2000 persons. 

This is Faculty of Commerce and Management. Around 1500 students study here.

This is the university Medical Center. It gives us free medication. It's open usually from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Its a very important place for us cause its the place we go when we get ill. Luckily this service is free for all university students.

This is English Language Teaching Unit. We call it the ELTU. All the English language courses are conducted here. And we can also study additional English languages here as well.

The brain of the campus. The library. This huge knowledge bank holds millions of books. Including a large study area. Thousands of students visit this place every day seeking knowledge.

This is the work unit. This is the center of all the hard work of the university. Like cleaning, building, repairing etc.

This is the FCT. Faculty of computing and Technology. This is new to the university and its rising fast. In near future this'll be the most valuable faculty in the university.

In the right side of this pic that's the staff canteen. Its located in front of the FCT.
